The Accelerator is WOW Liverpool’s intensive Musical Theatre training programme for emerging performers aged 18+. Designed for performers who are ready to take their development seriously, the programme combines intensive practical training in acting, singing and dance with individual coaching, performance experience and professional development.
Whether you’re preparing for drama school, developing after previous training, returning to performance or looking for the next stage in your development, The Accelerator gives you the time, support and opportunity to move forward.
SEPTEMBER 2027 INTAKE
TRAIN WITH PURPOSE
ACTING. SINGING. DANCE.
ACTING
Acting is the bridge between the technical work and the performance. We focus on truth, text analysis and the specific requirements of acting for Musical Theatre. You’ll develop a reliable process for preparing scenes, exploring character and connecting with both the material and your scene partners.
SINGING
Vocal health and technical security are at the centre of the training. From MT repertoire classes to ensemble work, you’ll build range, stamina and interpretive skill. The 30-minute individual vocal coachings every two weeks ensure your development is personal and sustained.
DANCE
Strong, foundations-first training in jazz, ballet and contemporary techniques. We expect you to work hard in the studio, developing the core strength, coordination and performance intensity required to respond to current industry choreography.
2 DAYS INTENSIVE
16 hours per week
A comprehensive training programme combining acting, singing, and dance with individual vocal coaching, repertoire development and performance preparation.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Our faculty brings together experience from the West End, professional theatre and performing arts education.
Students train with practitioners who understand the demands of the industry, combining professional expectations with individual support and guidance.
Every student receives a 30-minute individual vocal coaching session every two weeks.
These sessions provide dedicated time to develop vocal technique, explore repertoire and work towards individual goals, complementing the wider ensemble training.
Training extends beyond technique. Students develop the discipline, independence and professional approach required to navigate the performing arts industry.
Through audition preparation, repertoire development and performance experience, we help students build the confidence and practical skills to take their next steps.
LONDON INDUSTRY SHOWCASE
TAKE YOUR WORK INTO THE ROOM.
The Accelerator culminates in our London Industry Showcase, giving students the opportunity to present their work to agents, casting professionals and other industry guests in a professional West End environment.
The showcase is the culmination of the training, giving students the experience of preparing work to a professional standard, presenting themselves in an industry setting and making the transition from training into the next stage of their development.
