WOW Liverpool is a not-for-profit musical theatre company based in the heart of Liverpool’s Hope Street district. We exist to make high-quality performance training accessible, inclusive, and genuinely transformative — no matter your background or starting point.
We support young people and emerging artists at every stage of their journey — from their first steps on stage to professional-level opportunities — helping them grow in confidence, creativity, and skill.

OUR STORY
WOW (NW) CIC was born during the uncertainty of 2020, co-founded by theatre professionals Richard Leeson and Charlotte Croft in response to the pandemic’s impact on the arts.
What began as a series of online workshops with West End performers quickly grew into something more permanent. The drive and resilience of the young people involved inspired a mission: to offer real-world training, meaningful connection, and a space to belong — even in challenging times.
From these beginnings, WOW has developed into a thriving creative hub with year-round programming, live productions, and a growing community of performers.

Stage School (Ages 7-17)
Fun, inclusive weekly training in singing, acting, and dance, with two major performance opportunities each year — including a summer show at the Liverpool Playhouse.

We know traditional drama schools and training routes aren’t accessible for everyone. WOW offers an affordable, flexible alternative — without compromising on quality or ambition.
Show Company (Ages 18+)
A semi-professional ensemble offering tailored casting, high-level rehearsal environments, and public performances for committed adult performers.
The Accelerator (Ages 18+)
A practical, part-time training programme led by industry professionals, designed to support emerging artists through advanced classes, mentorship, and industry exposure.
